University City of Sharjah discusses strengthening economic cooperation with an Australian delegation

H.E Khalid Bin Butti Al Hajri, Director General of Sharjah University City, welcomed Mohammed Hajj, the president of the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the framework of discussing ways of enhancing cooperation between the two sides, and reviewing the University City Strategy and the agreements concluded between Australian universities and educational institutions at the University City.

H.E Khalid Bin Butti Al Hajri welcomed the visiting delegation and reviewed the most important future projects in the University City of Sharjah. The visit also included a field tour of the University City which is the largest tool in the scientific and cultural renaissance in the UAE. During the visit, he briefed the delegation on the educational and academic institutions, public facilities and future projects of the university city.

At the beginning of the visit, Khalid bin Butti Al Hajri gave an overview of the University City of Sharjah and the interests of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and President of Sharjah University City, to give the educational process in the Emirate of Sharjah the ultimate importance and consolidate all programs and objectives. To build a solid educational base for the benefit of present and future generations, and the unlimited support it receives from His Highness.

The Director General of the University City said that Sharjah has achieved its international scientific status and has become a scientific center and an important beacon in light of its various scientific programs and initiatives.

They also talked about the vision and mission of Sharjah University City to be the main pillar in embracing the largest educational and academic institutions in the country and to provide integrated and global services to all students, residents, and visitors, and to be a developed city with integrated services and distinct.

The visit concluded with a tour of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi for Gulf Studies to know the ancient manuscripts and rare printed maps, and the valuables of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi.
