In implementation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Supreme President of the University City of Sharjah, established in 1998 to become the largest University City in the world today. The University City of Sharjah presents its integrated services to the main and affiliated entities, to provide a more sustainable lifestyle for its residents and visitors.

Quality Policy for the University City of Sharjah
University City of Sharjah is committed to provide distinguished services that meet the needs of the consumers. It strives thoroughly to provide a safe and healthy environment with inclusive services, focusing on the following:
– Constant improvement of service quality and fulfilling the needs and expectations of consumers by offering an outstanding varied services, paying attention to details, and taking the opinions of consumers into consideration.
– Providing the highest levels of cultural, artistic, sports, medical, social, and recreational care.
– Offering the finest transportation, security, safety, landscaping, cleanliness, and maintenance services.

AE/SCNS/NCEMA 7000:2021 System Policy
Sharjah University City is committed to achieving business continuity and providing its vital services without interruption for the benefit of its customers in emergencies, crises and disasters by implementing a business continuity management system in line with the requirements of the national standard for the business continuity management system AE/SCNS/NCEMA 7000:2021 to participate in enhancing the national stability of the UAE. United Arab Emirates by building an administrative system ready to respond and recover from potential disruptions.
Accordingly, the University City of Sharjah is committed to the regime as follows:
1. Effective application of the business continuity management system to the provisions of the national standard AE/SCNS/NCEMA 7000:2021
2. Develop strategic plans that support the establishment and activation of an effective management system that is consistent with the context of the University City in Sharjah.
3. Enhancing the level of awareness and culture among those concerned with the concept and requirements of the business continuity system.
4. Defining tasks and responsibilities for all concerned to respond to emergency situations and deal with them until the recovery stage.
5. Reviewing the procedures and objectives of the business continuity management system periodically with the aim of continuous improvement and sustainability of vital services.
This policy is approved and disseminated to all stakeholders to effectively achieve the objectives of the Business Continuity Management System and implement it in accordance with the requirements of AE/SCNS/NCEMA 7000:2021 – the national standard for the Business Continuity Management System. The senior management will review and update this policy on an annual basis to ensure its suitability to the activities of the University City in Sharjah.
AE/SCNS/NCEMA 7000:2021Objectives
- Working to develop a program that works to restore vital businesses in the University City of Sharjah to ensure business continuity and service completion at the specified times in a manner consistent with the interest of its customers and concerned parties until the end of 2023.
- Ensure that the necessary information is provided to employees about the business continuity management system in coordination with the members of the business continuity management system until the end of 2023.
- Integrating the concepts of the business continuity management system into the general culture of the University City in Sharjah, to become an essential element in decision-making, by holding workshops for the business continuity program for employees of the University City in Sharjah until the end of 2023.
- Supporting the necessary needs to ensure the implementation of health, safety and environmental systems in the workplace during emergencies and crises in order to reduce the impact on human resources in the University City of Sharjah.
