University City of Sharjah, in cooperation with Al Qasimia University and NMC Specialty Hospital, organized a distinguished community initiative under the slogan “Workers’ Health Day”, with the aim of conducting a number of medical examinations for nearly 500 workers and educating workers about the risk of occupational diseases, and educating them for two consecutive days to create safe and healthy working environment.

H.H Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director of the University City, said that the University City of Sharjah is spreading health awareness among the various segments of the community as a measure to prevent diseases and to discover, communicate and educate the infected.

At the end of the events, the organizers’ team honored the participants in the initiative, which received positive feedback from the workers who interacted with it, and benefited from the information provided by the event.
