The Sharjah Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research is a governmental entity established under Amiri Decree No. (14) of 2025, with the aim of regulating and developing the higher education and scientific research sector in the Emirate of Sharjah. The Council is committed to enhancing the quality of higher education, promoting research and innovation, and ensuring integration between public and private higher education institutions. It also develops strategic policies and plans, oversees scholarship programs, and supports research centers and initiatives, thereby reinforcing Sharjah’s position as a leading hub for knowledge, science, and innovation in the region
