Established in 1997 by H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah as an independent non-profitable foundation. Although applying the American educational system, the University pays attention to enhance and confirm its tied link to the Arab heritage and civilization and seek to fulfill the academic needs of the region. AUS embodies types of colleges such as : College of Arts and Sciences, College of Administration & Business, College of Engineering and College of Architecture and Designing.
