The Islamic World Garden was inaugurated by August 2020 as a new
landmark in the University City where it reflects the vision of His Highness
Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council
and Ruler of Sharjah, Supreme President of University City in Sharjah,
through artistic and creative works that weave the names of scholars from
Islamic nation in the garden to promote knowledge within the framework of
sustainable development and the preservation of Islamic and Arab traditions.
The paintings consist of 16 Muslim scientists, which includes Islamic
inventions, and a brief on their history and the period of their preoccupation
with these sciences. This information was placed in a beautiful way to
cultivate the visitors intellectually while enjoying their time in the garden.
