University City of Sharjah welcomed delegation from Austria from the Islamic Institute in kPH University, based in Vienna and Krems. The delegation was taken on an introductory tour in Sharjah that lasted for two days. This visit aims to strengthen the collaboration and solid ties between the United Arab Emirates in general and Sharjah in particular with Austria.

On the first day, the delegation visited Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi Centre, where they received a detailed explanation about its valuable displays. On the second day, they visited the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services to learn about the services provided by the organization at the Gulf and Arabian Peninsula levels. The visit included a visit to its affiliated schools to meet and greet the students. This was followed by a tour at University City of Sharjah, starting with Al Qasimia University in Sharjah to acquire about its outstanding academic programs with an Islamic perspective. Subsequently, the delegate visited the Islamic Manuscripts House, where they were given an in-depth explanation of the valuable and rare items donated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and the Supreme President of University City of Sharjah. Consequently, was followed by a visit to the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah to perceive its exclusive museums and learn about the rare items donated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi to the Academy.

The tour concluded on the second day with a visit to the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park to sightsee its unique offerings on being a hub of innovation and technological advancement.

Today, the University City of Sharjah proudly embraces a comprehensive array of the hugest and most prominent educational, academic, artistic institutions, and more.”
